1. Welcome to the ScootyFriends Zone

2. What We Own
The name and Intellectual Property involved in the ScootyFriends Project is owned by
ScootyFriends. All rights that are not specifically granted to the users and owners of a ScootyFriend NFT listed below are reserved for exclusive use by ScootyFriends This includes but is not limited to the intellectual property rights surrounding the images, names, logos, 3D layer files, trademarks, the website, the ability to mint 3D or voxel or other versions of ScootyFriends, the look and feel of the user interface, the smart contract code, or anything else not specifically granted by any following licenses.
3. What You Own and What You Can Do With It
By connecting your Ethereum wallet and minting an NFT using our smart contract, you have purchased a ScootyFriend. You can show this specific ScootyFriends that own off in a number of ways. You can use it as your profile picture across your socials, make printed versions to adorn your home or self, make art that includes your ScootyFriend, or even sell it, although we hope you’ll want to keep it forever.
We are even giving you permission to merchandise your ScootyFriend up to $100,000 through the sale of physical merchandise. Please note: all merchandise for sale projects that are anticipated to exceed $100,000 in sales needs to be discussed in full with the ScootyFriends team prior to launch so any potential licensing can be addressed.
4. Specifics on Commercial and Derivative Rights
We appreciate your desire to utilize yourScootyFriend in various commercial ways in addition to the merchandising discussed above. We hope you find lots of creative ways to include your ScootyFriend in your life.
Please note that you are only allowed to use the ScootyFriends NFT that you own and you must show that ScootyFriend exactly as it is, the full and complete Scooty as purchased. That means you may not reproduce any individual parts or change or alter your ScootyFriend in ANY way including but not limited to color, shape, and adornments.
Each ScootyFriend is created from the copyrighted art of McKenzie aka Lonely Art World and the layered files and traits are proprietary creation owned by ScootyFriends. The individual layered files and traits can’t be used separately or altered in any way. The ScootyFriend, any of its parts, its layers, and its traits can not be used to mint new NFTs that are in anyway derivative or this project. You may not change the original ScootyFriends in any way or mint another NFT project using ScootyFriends, the Realm, or the work of ScootyFriends in any way.
You can take your ScootyFriend and using them in full and exactly as they are create merchandise and art and sell up to $100,000 USD and keep the profit. As stated above, please reach out to ScootyFriends with details of the project. Any project expected to exceed $100,000 will need to be licensed.
To limit the use even on merchandise, the user shall not use any ScootyFriend Licensed materials beyond the NFT you have purchased. You also may not use your ScootyFriends in connection with any material, which is unlawful, fraudulent, libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, profane, threatening, abusive, hateful, offensive or otherwise objectionable or unreasonable or infringing upon any laws or regulations or intellectual property rights or proprietary rights or confidentiality obligations and you shall indemnify and defend ScootyFriends. against any claims, damages, proceedings, loss or costs arising from such use. User shall not use the ScootyFriends. Licensed Materials that in any way that could be construed as being ScootyFriends brand or any of its subjects featured in the NFTs.
5. No Guarantees or Future Promises
ScootyFriends hopes to put out more content and create features of which the ScootyFriends community will be excited and proud. We have big plans and have already discussed some of our intentions with you.
That being said, the NFT landscape is shifting by the minute and many of our plans depend on the fiscal success of the project.
When you purchase your ScootyFriend, you agree and understand that you’re purchasing a NFT from our initial launch of NFTs and that is the only thing you are guaranteed to receive in exchange for your funds.
Whether through a primary purchase or on the secondary market, the art is what you receive.
Any and all future benefits are ancillary to this purchase and are not to be taken into consideration with your purchase. You agree that you are not relying on any future commitments by ScootyFriends beyond the purchase of the art. All community projects and benefits beyond the ownership of the NFT are dependent on the success of the launch and continued sales.
6. ScootyFriends Are Not Intended as Investments
ScootyFriends are meant to be a NFT that you collect for your pleasure. They are not meant to be an investment vehicle. We make absolutely no promise or guarantee that the fiscal value of any ScootyFriends NFTs will increase. We acknowledge that the NFT market is unpredictable and that the value of the ScootyFriends NFTs could very well decrease. Their value is what you and the market deem the art to be worth.
The LonelyArtWorld team loves this project and is committed to building community to see it bring real value to everyone who enters the Realm through the purchase of a ScootyFriend. We promise we are working to bring as much value as we can! You understand that a ScootyFriend has no inherent monetary
value, and each should be treated as nothing more than a collectible with potential future value or lack thereof.
7. Taxes
You are entirely responsible for any tax liability which may arise from minting or reselling your ScootyFriends NFT.
8. Children
The ScootyFriends project is not targeted towards children. You agree that you are over the age of 18, or above the legal age of your jurisdiction, whichever is greater at the time of purchase.
